Small Block (and Big Block) Bosch Charging System Cross Reference
The diode board used on the 84 V65C (BOSH P/N 0197002003) is the same one used on the older BMW Airheads thru 1995. Good used ones available at about $30, from parted out beemers. It may also be used on other older Guzzis.
[ed note: the '70's and '80's Bosch charging systems are the same in many BMW's and Guzzis. 850 T's had the earlier Bosch system with no "Y" alternator connection on the Diode , so it differs from the later typical Bosch setup. Check Guzziology for reference. -ed the ed.]
