"Installed the PCIII... much improved throttle response in the lower rpm range, where one lives most of the time. It seems to gain its power earlier so there isn't such a surge if I run the rpms up to 5000. I put 137,000 miles on a Yamaha Venture (1983) before buying the V11 EV and this makes the response more like that. Definitely a good thing. 5th gear is almost useless now, because the engine feels best when doing at least 3800rpm and that's almost 80 mph indicated on the speedometer. Thanks again"

"Installed the PCIII on my EV. Really transformed the bike. More power all around and much smoother. I can actually see out of the rear view mirrors now. I didn't realize how bad my bike was running until I installed the PCIII. I ride two up with my wife most of the time and have the large Guzzi windshield. I literally could not use 5th gear on the highway under 5000 rpm unless there was a tail wind or I was going down hill. Now the bike will cruise very smoothly at 3500 to 4000 in 5th and can still roll on power nicely from there. I've heard others say that they usually don't use 5th gear on the highway because they consider it more of a very high speed overdrive. Well that's because a heavily loaded stock EV just won't pull well enough in 5th gear at 70 to 80 mph with the stock map. Also the bike used to ping under load at high speeds and get hot. It doesn't ping and runs nice and cool now. At low speeds the bike now pulls much more strongly off idle and has a stronger, more positive and less wheezy exhaust note than it did before."

"What an improvement! I used to have trouble with standing starts due to hesitation and stumbling off idle, or even worse, accelerating from coasting at full throttle. Sometimes only one cylinder would be firing for several seconds. Now all hesitation is gone and I can take off smoothly without finessing the clutch.
