Symptom: Felt like I had severly warped rotors on my 84 Cali II. This had become progressively worse over the last 2000 miles or so. These bikes have cast iron rotors. They don't warp, do they? Couldn't stand it any more. Thoroughly looked into this last night.
Solution: Bad front wheel bearings. Bought new bearings at a local bearing distributor at $15 each, local bearing warehouse part #FAG 6004.2RSR.C3 - 1/2 hour installation. Problem solved.
