If you want to remove the oil filter cover plate but don�t want to buy of make a tool: Using the wrench for your axle bolt out of your tool kit, remove the bolt (it�s secured by pinch bolts). With your axle bolt and wrench in hand, you now have the perfect tool to remove the cover. The axle bolt is the same dimension as the �keyway� on the plate.
